The Tuttles were Xaina Tuttle Park's family.
Her Grandfather William Lewis Tuttle and his wife Sarah Emily moved to Blue Mound, Douglas County, Kansas in 1866, two and a half years after Quantrill's Raid.
We have information on the Tuttles back to Thomas Tuttle, who was born about 1506 at Northampton, England.
William Tuttle and his wife Elizabeth were transported from Ringstead County, Northampton England on April 2, 1635 aboard the ship Planter. The trip required about ten weeks and they arrived in Boston, Massachusetts around July 1635.
Their Great Grandson, Enos served in the American Revolution.
