Elisha and Hannah West Edwards were among the early settlers of Geary County Kansas. They, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all resided in the Wreford area of rural Geary County.
The house they lived in still stands, although it is in sad repair. It is just down the hill from the Wreford Cemetery where many of the family are buried.
Karl Drechsel Edwards was an educator and retired as a Professor of Education at the University of Kansas. He and his family lived in Lawrence, Kansas after 1954.
