Moved as a small child to Sutphens Mill, gratuated high school from Dickinson County High School. Taught school for 15 years. She and Clifford moved to Lawrence in 1937. Active in the Rebekah Lodge and became president of the International Association of the Rebekah Assemblies in 1956-57 holding sessions in Miama, FL. During her term as president she traveled through the US, all providences of Canada and Cuba. They retired and 1961 and moved back to Chapman. She and Clifford took my mother on several vacations when she was a child. I have many of her things including some jewlrey and pieces of pottery.
