Notes for Mamre Hotchkiss
Mamre (Hotchkiss) Hitchcock and her husband, Lemuel Hitchcock, were originally buried in unmarked graves in the cemetery on their property in Big Hollow (Maplecrest). When the flood control dam was built in the 1970s, the remains of all who were buried on their farm were removed and reinterred in the Maplecrest Cemetery.
