He may not be their child. The 1850 census has him listed in their household, as 11months old. The 1860 census has him listed as Dela Tuttle and he continued with this name, until death. At one point, he lived at 1416 Pennsylvania Street Lawrence, Kansas, with his sons Horace and Elbert and wife Aunt Mary.
