Ronald E. Williams was born December 18, 1930, in Abilene. He died at the Resurrection Hospital in Rosemont, Illinois.

Mr. Williams had lived in Salina since 1955, moving here from Junction City. He was president of Capitol City Transfer, Salina. Ron was a member of the Salina VFW, the National Council of Safety Supervisors, the Kansas Motor Carriers Association and the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors included his wife, Angela J. Williams; two daughters, Marcy Elaine and Nancy Ellen; and his mother, Mildred E. Williams. 

Angela J. Williams was born July 7, 1943, in Park, Kansas, to John C. and Angela (Lang) Richmeier. She died August 13, 2010.

Angie worked as a receptionist for many Salina businesses. She was the office secretary at Sacred Heart High School in the 1960's. Most recently she was receptionist at Salina Presbyterian Manor.

Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E., in 1983; two brothers, Leo Richmeier and Al Richmeier; and two sisters, Rita Rowlison Heiman and Theresa Boor.

Survivors included two daughters, Marcy E. Williams and Nancy E. Williams; one brother, Leroy Richmeier; one sister, Mary Ann York; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Heidi.
Cremation has taken place; no service is planned.
